Description:

MAS Global is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their enterprise data team in a remote position based in LATAM.
The role involves designing and developing strategic data pipelines using the latest technologies and patterns.
Responsibilities include writing and optimizing ELT processes in Python, interfacing with stakeholders to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, automating and orchestrating data pipelines, and developing data connectors to external data sources.
The ideal candidate is innovative, detail-oriented, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle diverse challenges.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer working with AWS services such as AWS Glue, EMR, Athena, and Lambdas is required.
Experience in building, testing, and enhancing data pipelines with structured and unstructured data from various sources like blobs, buckets, files, APIs, streaming, and databases is necessary.
Proficiency in Python and experience working with infrastructure as code (IaC) are essential.
Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and practices is required.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), AI/ML engineering exposure, experience with Terraform, and cloud-related data certifications.
