Description:

As a Senior Data Engineer at ABOUT YOU, you will be a key member of the Reporting and Data Science team, responsible for developing and maintaining a robust data platform supporting finance, logistics, and marketing stakeholders.
Your role involves designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable data pipelines while creating automated monitoring systems to ensure data integrity.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions that align with business objectives and lead the migration of data infrastructure to a new platform.
Setting and upholding data engineering standards, sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices within the team are also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a MINT-related field or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.
Proficiency in data orchestration and processing tools like Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Dataflow, or Metaflow.
Strong expertise in SQL, especially in big data environments.
Solid background in software engineering with a focus on Python development.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and simply.
Ability to work independently and manage projects with multiple stakeholders.
