Inkitt is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their remote team in Mexico City.
The company is focused on leveraging AI and predictive algorithms to discover and produce unknown stories into successful ebooks and entertainment content.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Airflow, Python, and dbt to support data processing.
Responsibilities include continuously improving data pipeline performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing monitoring to ensure platform reliability.
The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with data engineers, product analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand current and future data needs.
The position requires establishing and enforcing data quality standards throughout the ETL process and designing robust, scalable, and maintainable data architectures.
The goal is to enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions based on reliable, fast, and readily available data.

Requirements:

Candidates must have expertise in designing, building, maintaining, and improving data platforms and pipelines.
Advanced knowledge and experience with tools like Airflow and dbt are required.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks is essential.
Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment is necessary.
