Jobgether is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work remotely in India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, or the Philippines.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud-based platforms to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring high-quality data solutions.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines, developing and maintaining data models, and architecting cloud-based data platforms.
The engineer will work with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
Ensuring data quality, consistency, and security through robust monitoring and validation frameworks is essential.
Staying updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to improve data engineering practices is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra, is required.
Proficiency with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, and BigQuery is necessary.
Strong knowledge of programming languages including Python, NodeJS, and SQL is essential.
Advanced experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, along with associated data services, is required.
Experience with data warehousing tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift is necessary.
Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau and LookerStudio, as well as version control systems like Git, is expected.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Kinesis, and machine learning pipelines.
