Description:
Rockerbox is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Integrations team responsible for data pipelines that ingest customers' marketing data from 3rd Party APIs.
The role involves building scalable, resilient, well-monitored, and cost-efficient data ingests and pipelines.
Responsibilities include sharing knowledge through design and code reviews, maintaining effective patterns in the engineering codebase, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design solutions meeting business requirements.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS (Redshift), Kubernetes (K8s), and Python.
The position requires a passion for contributing to a team-focused, dynamic environment and influencing product evolution as the company expands its reach.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience as a data engineer with extensive AWS services experience.
Prior experience with Redshift and Kubernetes (K8s).
Preferred experience in ingesting data from third party APIs and modern orchestration tools like Airflow.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (eg: Terraform) is preferred.
Ability to simplify complex topics in written and verbal communication.
Technical project leadership experience and the ability to bring stakeholders together around a project plan and architecture.
Product mindset to embrace business needs and produce scalable data/engineering solutions.
