• Traction Ag is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing Engineering team, focusing on developing software for their farm management platform.
• The role involves writing software that integrates operational data, financials, and machine data to provide insights into large-scale agricultural operations.
• Responsibilities include developing and supporting third-party integrations, ETL data processing jobs, and new Rest APIs.
• The engineer will build internal data visualization dashboards, perform analysis and design of SQL queries, and produce scripts for data management.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have working experience with Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL using persistence frameworks is required.

• Knowledge of geospatial processing tasks and the ability to build databases from imagery and cartographic sources is necessary.
• Familiarity with AWS and other cloud service platforms, as well as big data concepts and technologies, is expected.
