Description:
- Blue Coding is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work remotely with one of their US clients in the life insurance industry.
- The role involves developing and maintaining systems in enterprise data and analytics environments.
- Responsibilities include optimizing performance, building decision-making tools, and collaborating with various teams to deliver data solutions.
- The position offers full flexibility to work remotely from any listed country, as long as the work is completed effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Python/Scala programming with significant experience in data engineering environments.
- Strong skills in SQL and NoSQL databases, along with familiarity with data visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms such as S3, EMR, and Lambda.
- Understanding of infrastructure as code principles, Agile methodologies, and data pipeline design.
- Ability to support Tableau and PowerBI users, as well as Analytics/Data Science teams.
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaborative skills.
