Remote Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer position at Webflow involves building robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure to support data operations.
• Responsibilities include provisioning and deploying infrastructure using Pulumi for systems like Kafka, Spark, and Airflow on AWS.
• The role requires managing and maintaining clusters for optimal performance, configuring VPCs, load balancers, and endpoints for secure communication, and overseeing S3 data lake management.
• The Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer will design high-availability solutions, implement caching strategies, and optimize performance through monitoring and logging tools.
• Other duties include participating in engineering activities, mentoring a team of engineers, and simplifying infrastructure complexity for other teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in roles like Data Infrastructure Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps, or Backend Engineer.
• Strong experience with provisioning and managing data infrastructure components such as Kafka, Spark, and Airflow.
• Proficiency in cloud services, containerization technologies, infrastructure as code tools, networking concepts, and monitoring and logging tools.
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
