Description:

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Data Operations Analyst for the Veeva Compass Product Team, focusing on Master Data Management (MDM) processes and domains.
The role involves owning MDM processes used by the Compass suite of data products, which includes de-identified prescription and medical claims data.
Responsibilities include driving data quality, consistency, and standardization within the Terminology Reference Library (TRL), Veeva’s MDM system of health data terminologies.
The analyst will onboard new data domains, design data flows, and work with the development team to automate processes.
The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and product managers to define data standards and enhance data quality.
Key tasks include implementing MDM strategies, conducting analytics on data sets, designing data dictionaries, and supporting projects to onboard new data sources.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of data management/analysis experience, with extensive knowledge of database schemas, data dictionaries, field mappings, and data flows.
Experience working with MDM systems in a design or administrator capacity is required.
Applicants should have experience onboarding and ingesting data sources, including data profiling and quality control.
Proficiency in designing and documenting master data management processes is necessary.
Candidates should be skilled in data modeling and familiar with techniques such as dimensional modeling and entity-relationship modeling.
Experience with health terminology reference data such as ICD, CPT/HCPCS, NDC, or Payer is essential.
SQL skills are required.
