Description:

The Senior Data Platform Engineer will lead the design, development, and management of platform and data pipelines.
Responsibilities include ensuring the data platform remains scalable, reliable, and efficient, while identifying and leading initiatives for improvement.
The role involves collaborating with solution experts to identify platform functionality gaps and leading optimization initiatives.
The engineer will translate needs into technical solutions and oversee the implementation of improvements to the data platform.
Key responsibilities include leading critical improvements to the data platform, providing expertise on data engineering best practices, and supporting solution development.
Requirements:
Strong cross-functional communication skills are required to explain complex technical components to both technical and non-technical partners.
Experience working with Data Science teams to support ML Ops is necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate excellence in designing, developing, and optimizing quality data pipelines.
Experience with modern data architecture designs, such as Data Lake and Lakehouse, is essential.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and operating cloud-based data platforms is preferred.
Interest in mentoring new developers is a plus.
Candidates should have a robust aptitude for interpreting complex datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
Relevant industry certifications in Data Architecture services are desirable.
Experience with multi-cloud architectures, data visualization tools, and healthcare data is advantageous.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

The salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $185,000, based on various factors including location and experience.
