The Senior Data Science Consultant role involves solving problems and designing solutions using cutting-edge tools while being mindful of practical impacts.
The consultant will work with messy data, solve problems, and communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities include preparing and presenting analysis findings to clients, using various analytical tools for reporting, managing tasks and teams, contributing to proposals, and supporting the development of the data science team.
The role requires collaboration with the Data Science and BI team and the Data Engineering team to drive high delivery standards and innovation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong portfolio showcasing data cleaning, quality control, and exploratory analysis.
Commercial experience in predictive modeling (both supervised and unsupervised) and proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, along with a solid understanding of SQL and database technologies.
Strong knowledge of machine learning, data mining, and statistical modeling in a commercial context.
Experience in leading and delivering projects, managing data science solutions, and overseeing a team of analysts in a non-academic setting.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have: experience with complex ML applications like NLP or computer vision, ability to process large data sets in cloud environments, and knowledge of relevant sectors such as manufacturing or energy.
