The Senior Data Scientist will create machine learning models, delve into data analysis, and develop a strong business understanding.
Responsibilities include building and improving products through machine learning and data analysis, collaborating with stakeholders, tracking performance KPIs, and developing new model experiments.
The role requires mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and ensuring proper documentation of machine learning processes.
The position is remote and full-time, based in Mexico.

Requirements:

A degree in fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience and skills is required.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate data science analyses and reports clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences are essential.
Advanced understanding of machine learning algorithms and proven experience in their application in academic or industrial settings is necessary.
Experience in learning and implementing new technologies and methodologies is required.
Extensive experience collaborating with stakeholders from different areas to effectively address business problems using machine learning applications is needed.
Well-developed interpersonal skills and maturity to influence team members and stakeholders, especially in differing opinions, are important.
Proven ability to work independently on impactful data science projects and contribute to team performance improvement is required.
Ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate effectively on projects is necessary.
Strong skills in analytical tools such as pandas, numpy, and matplotlib are required.
Proficiency in machine learning libraries and solid SQL skills are essential.
Comfort with Unix-like operating systems is required.
Conversational fluency in English is necessary.
Experience in MLOps is required.
Knowledge of NLP, Opensearch, DataBricks, Tensorflow, or Pytorch is desirable.
