Fullstory is seeking a Senior Data Science Software Engineer to join the Behavioral Intelligence team, working remotely within the United States.
The role combines responsibilities of a Data Scientist and a Software Engineer, focusing on research and development of algorithms, models, and machine learning systems.
The engineer will collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to transition ideas from prototype to production.
Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments, developing machine learning systems, writing production-quality code, and setting up monitoring for product features.
The position requires a curious mindset and a collaborative approach to solve high-value problems for leading brands and companies.

Requirements:

Candidates should have experience in a product-centric engineering role, delivering data-driven features from experimentation to production.
Proficiency in statistics, data analytics (SQL and Python), and machine learning is required.
Experience in building classification or anomaly detection systems, with a preference for sentiment analysis or fraud detection, is necessary.
Familiarity with personalization and recommendation systems, particularly conversion rate optimization (CRO), is a plus.
Strong self-motivation, collaborative spirit, and comfort with practices like code reviews and design reviews are essential.
Experience in partnering with engineers to architect production-ready solutions is required.
