Description:

• Pomelo Care is a multi-disciplinary team focused on improving care for moms and babies through evidence-based pregnancy and newborn care.
• The Senior Data Scientist will create, analyze, and visualize foundational data to enhance the lives of moms and babies.
• The role involves generating data and insights that inform business decisions and patient care.
• Responsibilities include becoming an expert in Pomelo's patient care data, building data pipelines and dashboards for various teams, developing algorithms for patient prioritization, executing analyses to measure clinical program effectiveness, and identifying opportunities to improve patient care through data collaboration.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, data science, data engineering, or statistical analysis involving SQL.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, is required.
• A passion for improving maternal health outcomes is essential.
• Experience in scoping and implementing data-driven solutions to ambiguous problems is necessary, with a focus on efficacy over complexity.
• Candidates should be excited to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to understand the needs of different audiences are required.
