Launch Potato is a digital media company focused on connecting advertisers to customers throughout the consumer journey.
The Senior Data Scientist role will primarily involve building machine learning models, not engineering or data engineering tasks.
The base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $160,000 per year, paid bi-monthly.
The role requires a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning, along with 2+ years in performance marketing or lead generation.
Responsibilities include developing and deploying machine learning solutions to enhance customer personalization, optimize monetization models, and improve lead quality.
The position emphasizes collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams to integrate ML models into various initiatives.
The Senior Data Scientist will also mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth of the data science team.
Key outcomes include building scalable ML solutions, identifying high-impact ML opportunities, and creating containerized ML models using Docker/Kubernetes.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning is required.
At least 2 years of experience in the performance marketing or lead generation industry is necessary.
Expertise in designing, implementing, optimizing, and testing Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) solutions and recommendation systems is essential.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with experience using Data Science tools like Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, is required.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of monetization methodologies within performance marketing and the ability to apply them in data science.
Experience in building and productionizing MAB solutions, recommendation systems, and deep learning models is preferred.
Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or GCP and the ML lifecycle is necessary.
Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of leveraging ML models to drive company-level performance metrics are required.
A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest ML/AI trends and technologies is important.
The ability to independently own projects and collaborate effectively across teams is essential.

The compensation package includes a base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and competitive benefits.
