Description:
The position is a remote, 3 months contract-based engagement with a possibility of extension.
The role involves research, development, and implementation of algorithms and models to solve business challenges.
Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments to evaluate the performance of models and iterating on them to achieve state-of-the-art results.
The candidate will utilize Large Language Models (LLM) or similar architectures to build scalable and efficient solutions.
Collaboration with software engineers is required to integrate solutions into production systems and ensure scalability and reliability.
Requirements:
The candidate must have 7+ years of experience in AI and machine learning, model building, and strong coding skills in Python.
A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
A deep understanding of NLP, including text classifiers, re-rankers, and topic modeling, is essential.
Experience working directly with large language models and Transformer-based architectures, including BERT, RoBERTa, and T5, is necessary.
The candidate should have working knowledge of applying recent LLMs, including ChatGPT, GPT 3.5, OPT, and BLOOM.
Experience with reinforcement learning, prompt engineering, hallucination mitigation, DevOps repositories, debugging, building APIs, and managing the algorithm flow across multiple work streams in one repository is required.
The candidate must have experience working with large datasets and distributed computing systems, such as Hadoop and Spark.
Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong work ethics and dedication to the project's success are essential.
The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
Collaborative behavior and the ability to efficiently share code and knowledge with good teammates are required.
