Description:
Webflow is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to enhance the understanding of customer interactions with their web development platform.
The role involves partnering with product stakeholders to identify business questions and provide data-driven insights.
Responsibilities include developing KPIs, improving user experience, and enhancing the data warehouse through clean and reliable data pipelines.
The position is full-time, permanent, and can be performed remotely or from the San Francisco HQ.
The cash compensation is based on geographic location, experience, and skills, with specific pay zones outlined for the U.S.
The Senior Data Scientist will report to the Manager of Data Science.
Key tasks include enabling product teams to identify growth opportunities, defining success metrics, leading team members in executing experiments, and developing data foundations and machine learning capabilities.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in a Data Science or similar role.
Interest and experience in mentoring team members to build a collaborative data science practice are required.
Demonstrated experience in contributing to strategic roadmaps and providing high-quality analysis that impacts company strategy is essential.
Expertise in applied statistics, segmentation, and experimentation, with the ability to explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or R are required.
Candidates should be curious about business and product data and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
Strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences are essential.
