Description:

The Senior Data Scientist will be part of the Data Scientist team within Sojern’s Science and Optimization group, focusing on improving customer KPIs through experimentation, measurement, and analytics.
This role involves collaborating with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Applied Scientists to shape the product roadmap and drive measurable results for Sojern’s clients.
The candidate will lead experimentation projects, applying statistical analysis and causal inference techniques to evaluate experiments and draw actionable conclusions.
Responsibilities include communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and mentoring analyst team members.
The position requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in SQL and Python, and a solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data scientist, preferably in the advertising technology sector.
Proficiency in SQL for data collection, processing, and analysis, as well as advanced skills in Python for data visualization and statistical modeling.
Strong understanding of statistical concepts, measurement methods, and causal inference techniques such as randomized control trials and difference-in-differences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate and present insights to diverse audiences.
A Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience is required.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of digital marketing and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
