Description:

  • The position is a remote, 3 months contract-based engagement with a possibility of extension.
  • The role involves research, development, and implementation of algorithms and models to solve business challenges.
  • Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments to evaluate the performance of models and iterating on them to achieve state-of-the-art results.
  • The candidate will utilize Large Language Models (LLM) or similar architectures to build scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Collaboration with software engineers is required to integrate solutions into production systems and ensure scalability and reliability.

Requirements:

  • The candidate must have 7+ years of experience in AI and machine learning, model building, and strong coding skills in Python.
  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
  • A deep understanding of NLP, including text classifiers, re-rankers, and topic modeling, is essential.
  • Experience working directly with large language models and Transformer-based architectures such as BERT, RoBERTa, and T5 is necessary.
  • The candidate should have working knowledge of applying recent LLMs, including ChatGPT, GPT 3.5, OPT, and BLOOM.
  • Experience with reinforcement learning, prompt engineering, hallucination mitigation, DevOps repositories, debugging, building APIs, and managing algorithm flow across multiple work streams in one repository is required.
  • The candidate must have experience working with large datasets and distributed computing systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethics and dedication to the project's success are essential.
  • The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Collaborative behavior and the ability to efficiently share code and knowledge with good teammates are required.
