Remote Senior Data Scientist

Description:

• We are looking for a Data Scientist with 3-6 years of industry experience to join our growing team.
• In this role, you will develop and deploy cutting-edge machine learning and statistical models to solve pressing business challenges.
• This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and software engineers, to build scalable AI solutions.
• You will design, develop, and deploy traditional statistical and machine learning models, including Neural Networks, Boosted/Bagged Decision trees, and other advanced solutions to solve real-world problems.
• You will collaborate closely with product teams to align data science solutions with business goals and user needs.
• You will partner with engineering teams to integrate models into production pipelines and ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• You will build and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud technologies to feed machine learning models efficiently.
• You will fine-tune and optimize models and work with standard Python and Spark libraries.
• You will perform experiments to validate new approaches and monitor model performance in production environments.
• You will use cloud platforms like AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake to manage resources, deploy models, and maintain model artifacts.
• You will keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, data science, and statistical computing techniques to continuously improve solutions.
• You will monitor deployed solutions and continuously optimize these solutions.
• You will communicate techniques used in a clear, concise way to clients and stakeholders.
• Expertise designing solutions requiring low-latency is preferred.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with 3-6 years of relevant experience is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying machine learning models is necessary.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with SQL are required; Apache Spark experience is preferred.
• Experience in either C++ or Rust is preferred, but optional.
• Experience working with cloud computing environments, such as AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake, is required.
• Knowledge of ML deployment best practices and versioning tools is necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of new technologies are essential.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills are required; the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment is necessary.
• Experience or familiarity with the advertising industry or related technologies is a plus but optional.
