The studio operates remotely, allowing talented individuals from across the United States to join the team.
The Data Team at Second Dinner plays a crucial role in using data to enhance player experiences and inform strategic decisions.
The Senior Data Scientist will report to the VP of Data and AI and will collaborate with various teams to enhance game experiences and drive growth.
Responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities, improving live operations, defining actionable metrics, applying analytics and machine learning techniques, leading experimentation, and contributing to the vision and strategy for data and analytics.
Requirements:
An advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is required.
Expertise in SQL and Python is necessary.
Extensive experience in data science and analytics is essential.
Candidates must have significant experience in experimentation for consumer-facing product features or live operations, including A/B testing and causal inference.
Experience in developing personalized recommendation systems is required.
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences are necessary.
The ability to partner with stakeholders for product improvement and innovation is essential.
Experience with fundamental ETL/ELT processes is required.
A demonstrated success in a collaborative cross-functional work environment is necessary.
A passion for mobile games and a mindset for serving a diverse global player base are required.
