The role of Senior Data Scientist involves building and shaping the data science discipline at Make.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of business experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning roles.
Proven experience in deploying machine learning models in a business environment, focusing on impact and scalability is required.
Strong project management skills are necessary to manage multiple data science projects from inception to delivery.
A deep understanding of data science methodologies and business problem-solving, including statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and experimentation is essential.
Excellent Python and SQL skills are required, along with experience using ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data visualization tools.
Candidates should be able to operate independently and proactively, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
Strong communication skills are necessary to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in SaaS or with building and deploying LLMs is a plus.
Fluency in verbal and written English is required.
