Description:
The Data Science Team at Reddit is seeking experienced Data Scientists to collaborate with various teams (Product, Engineering, Designer, Marketing, Business Development) to enhance systems driving user and revenue growth.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will contribute significantly to key product areas at Reddit, such as Consumer, Ads, and Safety, by defining product strategy through metrics design, experimentation, and deep data analyses.
Responsibilities include involvement in all stages of product development, ensuring data quality, working on ETLs, and providing insights for decision-making.
You will act as a thought-partner for product and engineering managers, shaping Reddit's roadmap through impactful insights and analytics.
Requirements:
Must have relevant experience in quantitative or data science roles, preferably in consumer-facing services, ads monetization, or safety.
Ph.D., M.S., or Bachelors degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields with a minimum of 4+ years of industry data science experience for M.S. or Bachelors degree holders, and 2+ years for Ph.D. holders.
Proficiency in statistical analysis, programming languages (e.g., R/Python), querying relational databases (e.g., SQL), online experimentation, and causal inference.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments, strong technical communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities for ambiguous issues.
