Description:

  • Firnal Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with multi-industry experience in leveraging data to uncover deep insights, drive decision-making, and create high-impact solutions for commercial, political, and government projects.
  • The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, problem solver, and technical expert who can harness the power of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to extract meaningful intelligence from complex datasets.
  • This role will work across various industries, including finance, consumer behavior, governance, and political strategy, using data-driven models to optimize business outcomes, enhance targeting strategies, and support high-stakes decision-making.
  • Key responsibilities include designing and implementing data-driven models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets, developing and applying predictive analytics, machine learning models, and AI-driven insights across multiple domains.
  • The candidate will work with structured and unstructured data from diverse sources, including consumer transactions, social media, political trends, and financial markets.
  • They will identify key trends and opportunities in commercial markets, governance, and political landscapes using advanced analytics.
  • Collaboration with engineering, data acquisition, and strategy teams to translate insights into real-world applications is essential.
  • The role involves building AI-enhanced decision-making frameworks for political campaigns, corporate clients, and international projects.
  • Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with relevant industry regulations and best practices is a critical responsibility.
  • The candidate must stay ahead of emerging technologies and methodologies in data science, AI, and big data analytics.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
  • The candidate must have 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics, with exposure to multiple industries.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn is necessary.
  • Strong expertise in predictive modeling, NLP, AI-driven analytics, and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Snowflake is required.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets from financial transactions, consumer behavior, political polling, and economic indicators is essential.
  • The ability to translate complex data into strategic insights for business leaders, political campaigns, and government agencies is crucial.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, FCRA) and ethical AI practices is necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders are required.
