AirDNA is a technology startup that provides data and business intelligence for the travel and vacation rental industry.
The company is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to work remotely and lead the development of software solutions for short-term rental hosts.
The role involves leveraging data-driven insights to help hosts manage properties, optimize pricing, and enhance guest experiences.
Responsibilities include guiding the strategy for machine learning systems, utilizing advanced data analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing predictive models, and driving the implementation of data science models.
The Senior Data Scientist will also create strategies for sourcing training data and monitor model performance.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, focusing on software development and advanced analytics, is necessary.
Candidates must have a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying successful software solutions powered by data science.
Experience in short-term rental investment, revenue management, and price optimization is a strong plus.
Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python and proficiency in data manipulation libraries like Pandas and Scikit-learn is required.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets in distributed systems such as PySpark and Snowflake is essential.
Experience in machine learning engineering, cloud-based deployment, and model lifecycle management is also required.

The salary range for this position is $170,000 - $180,000 per year, with competitive cash compensation and benefits.
