Suno is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for Growth to establish and lead the growth analytics function.
This role will play a foundational part in shaping Suno's growth strategy from the ground up.
The position involves working at the intersection of data science, analytics, and growth optimization.
The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate closely with growth, product, and marketing teams to accelerate user acquisition and enhance user retention.
Responsibilities include driving growth strategy through analysis of product usage patterns and marketing channel performance.
The role requires designing and analyzing experiments across product features and marketing campaigns to optimize user acquisition, activation, and retention.
The candidate will develop and maintain attribution models to understand the effectiveness of various growth channels and optimize marketing spend.
Building predictive models for user behavior, including conversion propensity, churn likelihood, and lifetime value, is essential.
The role involves partnering with data engineering to ensure robust data collection and transformation for growth analytics.
The Senior Data Scientist will also work with product and engineering teams to execute and prioritize growth projects.
Translating complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders across product, marketing, and executive teams is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data science, specifically in growth and paid/performance marketing.
A strong quantitative foundation and experience in statistical modeling are required.
Expertise in experimental design, with demonstrated experience running both product and marketing experiments, is necessary.
The candidate should have experience defining and measuring growth, onboarding, and retention metrics.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation is essential.
Excellent communication skills and experience working across multiple functions to influence key decisions are required.
A self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, eagerness to wear multiple hats, and a passion for continuous learning are important traits.
