Remote Senior Data Scientist / LLM Engineer

Description:

• Qventus is seeking a Senior Data Scientist / LLM Engineer to work remotely in the United States.
• The role involves utilizing machine learning, generative AI, and behavioral science to enhance healthcare operations and patient care.
• Responsibilities include developing impactful models using various statistical and machine learning techniques, collaborating with product and clinical teams, and measuring the impact of interventions in healthcare settings.
• The position requires strong communication skills, hands-on data engineering experience, and a dedication to high code quality and maintainability.
• Preferred qualifications include mentorship experience, exposure to GenAI frameworks, and practical hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS services.
• The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of research experience in statistical and machine learning techniques, particularly in NLP and explainable ML using Python.
• 2+ years of industry experience developing, launching, and maintaining machine learning systems at scale.
• 1+ years of experience developing and tuning LLM systems, with strong experience in RAG preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
• Hands-on experience in data engineering, including data manipulation, cleaning, and pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Strong software development foundations with a focus on code quality and maintainability.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent training/experience.
