MentorMate is seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and time series analysis.
The role involves developing advanced Machine Learning (ML) models for anomaly detection and predictive maintenance in manufacturing production lines.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing ML models, applying and optimizing predictive modeling techniques, and evaluating model performance.
The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Production Managers, and IT professionals, to integrate ML solutions into the production environment.
The position requires utilizing popular ML libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, as well as programming in Python.
Ensuring data quality and integrity by working closely with data engineers to gather, clean, and preprocess production data is also a key responsibility.
Documentation of solutions, findings, performance evaluation results, and best practices for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement is expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proven experience (7+ years) as a Data Scientist, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong proficiency in ML algorithms for time series analysis and predictive modeling is required.
Expertise in Python programming and familiarity with popular ML libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch is essential.
A solid understanding of anomaly detection techniques and predictive maintenance strategies is necessary.
Experience with performance evaluation metrics and model refinement/fine-tuning is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights, are essential.
Excellent communication skills are needed to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
