Description:

The company is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the development of their Business Intelligence Application within the "Customer & Shop Intelligence" cluster.
The role involves using data from various sources to create logics & scores for a personalized user shopping experience.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing algorithms for personalized shopping, deploying solutions into production, and challenging existing recommendation systems.
The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a flat hierarchy where contributions can have a significant impact.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
Proficiency in Python or experience with scientific computing languages like MATLAB, R, Julia, or C++.
Strong SQL skills and experience in analytical or transactional database environments.
Proven track record in building and deploying machine learning solutions that provide business value.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and tools for handling large datasets efficiently.
Experience in designing, building, and managing data pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud-based model training and serving platforms like GCP Vertex AI or Amazon SageMaker.
Strong knowledge of statistical methods for model evaluation.
Ability to communicate complex machine learning concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
