The company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist for Mobile App User Acquisition to join their data science team.
The role involves solving complex problems for StackAdapt's mobile in-app advertising platform.
Responsibilities include leading the creation and optimization of advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance mobile advertising effectiveness, user acquisition strategies, and ROI.
The candidate will own the end-to-end development of mobile-focused production-grade ML models, writing efficient, scalable code, and collaborating with Data Engineers to deploy algorithms into live systems.
The position requires driving the prototyping and rigorous testing of innovative algorithms and mobile acquisition data pipelines using historical data to validate performance and scalability.

Requirements:

The candidate must have 3+ years of industry experience in data science or machine learning.
A Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field is required, with dual degrees being a plus.
The ability to take ambiguously defined tasks and break them down into actionable steps using data-driven insights is essential.
A comprehensive understanding of statistics, optimization, and machine learning techniques to drive performance improvements is necessary.
Proficiency in coding, data structures, and algorithms, along with hands-on experience working with large datasets, is required.
The candidate should have a working knowledge of mobile user acquisition strategies and a solid understanding of programmatic advertising, including attribution models, ad exchanges, and bidding dynamics.
A passion for working in a friendly, collaborative environment and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business impact is important.
