StackAdapt is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for Mobile App User Acquisition to join their data science team.
The role involves solving complex problems for StackAdapt's mobile in-app advertising platform.
Responsibilities include leading the creation and optimization of advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance mobile advertising effectiveness and user acquisition strategies.
The candidate will own the end-to-end development of mobile-focused production-grade ML models, ensuring seamless integration with MMPs, ad networks, and attribution platforms.
The position requires driving the prototyping and rigorous testing of innovative algorithms and mobile acquisition data pipelines using historical data to validate performance and scalability.
The company operates as a Remote First organization, open to candidates located anywhere in North America.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of industry experience in data science or machine learning.
A Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field is required, with dual degrees considered a plus.
The ability to break down ambiguously defined tasks into actionable steps using data-driven insights is essential.
A comprehensive understanding of statistics, optimization, and machine learning techniques is necessary to drive performance improvements.
Proficiency in coding, data structures, and algorithms, along with hands-on experience working with large datasets, is required.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of mobile user acquisition strategies and a solid understanding of programmatic advertising, including attribution models, ad exchanges, and bidding dynamics.
