Remote Senior Data Scientist (Part-time On-call)

Description:

• Ripple Effect is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (Part-Time, On-Call) with 6 years of experience to support the client’s mission.
• The role involves working closely with the Digital Transformation Team to analyze complex datasets, generate insights, and develop statistical models for data-driven decision making.
• Responsibilities include extracting and transforming raw data into actionable insights, ensuring data quality, designing advanced statistical models, developing training materials, and creating client reports.
• The position is fully remote, with hours varying from 0-20 at any time, and requires a Public Trust clearance.
• The salary range for this position is $38.68 - $44.48 per hour.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 6 years of data science-related experience, with at least 2 years in a social or biomedical science field.
• Proven experience as a Data Science Analyst, focusing on data analysis, modeling, and visualization is essential.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Python or R, data manipulation tools like SQL, and cloud platforms like Azure is required.
• Strong knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques is necessary.
• Experience with NVivo or other coding platforms for data manipulation is required.
• Candidates must have excellent English grammar and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
