Description:
Join the VRChat Team, a platform offering a unique collection of social VR experiences and empowering community creation.
As a Senior Data Scientist on VRChat’s Data Team, you will influence strategic product decisions and advance the product roadmap across various verticals.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to scope, design, execute, measure, and improve product features and campaigns.
Conduct quantitative analysis to deliver insights and influence product decision-making based on user behavior and platform ecosystem understanding.
Design and monitor core metrics, performing root cause analysis to explain drivers.
Identify trends and opportunities to drive growth, retention, and monetization initiatives.
Create a healthy ecosystem for content creators, users, and consumers.
Design and analyze experiments to inform and influence product investments.
Acquire new data from various production systems and databases.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, data analytics, product analytics, or quantitative analysis is required.
An expert background in utilizing SQL/Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze datasets is essential.
Ability to work cross-functionally to translate business problems into solvable issues informed by experimentation and data analysis.
Experience in creating data visualizations to communicate metric performance is necessary.
Develop models of usage, user behavior, and business behavior to make recommendations and influence the product roadmap.
Conduct A/B testing, including design, execution, and analysis of experiments to understand the impact of product feature deployments and changes.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex analyses and insights to non-technical audiences.
