Jobgether is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to work remotely in the United States.
The role involves developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models focused on anomaly detection to combat financial crime, including money laundering and fraud.
Responsibilities include enhancing data pipelines based on customer feedback, leading AI model governance, and ensuring models are interpretable and reliable.
The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with customers and stakeholders to translate feedback into technical improvements and product enhancements.
The position requires applying MLOps best practices for production-ready AI implementations and providing mentorship to junior data scientists.
Staying updated on AI trends and financial crime detection methodologies is essential to evolve the platform's capabilities.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, and data science, with practical deployment experience.
Strong proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras is required.
Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerized AI deployments is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS, for AI model deployment is expected.
Expertise in SQL and standard data manipulation techniques is essential.
Experience with anomaly detection, particularly related to financial crime patterns, is required.
Knowledge of MLOps, including model monitoring, retraining strategies, and production pipelines, is necessary.
Experience with AI testing platforms (e.g., MLflow) and C++ is a plus.
A full-stack mindset is needed, with the ability to build, deploy, and refine AI solutions in production.
Strong customer interaction skills and the ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions are essential.
A Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
