Remote Senior Data Scientist, USA

Description:

• Tiger Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist with robust Optimization experience, particularly in integer programming and mixed integer programming, as well as AWS experience and strong coding capabilities.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for writing complex production-level codes and should preferably have a background in Ad-Tech/Media-Tech domains.
• Key responsibilities include effectively communicating analytics approaches to business partners, advocating for data-driven decision-making, leading analytic approaches, creating scalable models, collaborating with a team of Data Scientists, and staying updated with industry trends.
• The role also involves supporting demands from regulators and investor relations by developing innovative solutions using cutting-edge techniques and tools.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of Data Science experience with expertise in Optimization, AWS, Python, Scala, and strong coding skills.
• Proficiency in Combinatorial Optimization, Integer programming, Mixed Integer programming, Greedy Heuristics, Time Series, Forecasting Techniques, and more.
• Strong foundation in statistics and experience with statistical packages, Python, Scala, and SQL coding.
• Hands-on experience in building time-series/forecasting models and preference for Ad-Tech/Media-Tech industry experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to understand and deliver solutions to business partner needs.
