Description:

The position is for a Senior Data Scientist/Software Engineer located in King George, VA, with a remote opportunity and flexible working hours.
The role is full-time and is expected to start on May 1, 2025.
The salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $190,000, plus benefits.
The candidate will work on Electronic Warfare Ontology Engineering, focusing on developing and applying semantic models and knowledge graphs to integrate and standardize EW data in support of AI/ML, data fusion, and mission analysis.
Responsibilities include software integration or testing, data integration, transformation, and pipeline development, as well as preparing data for AI/ML workflows.
The candidate will also work with classified and unclassified datasets and document data lineage and source classification.

Requirements:

A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience is required.
A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or Computer Linguistics is necessary.
The candidate must have experience with software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts.
Proficiency in data integration, transformation, and pipeline development is required, including building scalable, automated data flows from structured and unstructured sources.
Strong SQL skills and experience writing complex queries across multiple data sources are essential.
Familiarity with Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, workflows, and data structures is necessary.
The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance with TS SCI Eligibility.
Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, PySpark, Pandas) and scripting languages such as Python or Scala is required.
Experience with semantic or metadata-rich data structures and knowledge graphs is necessary.
