Lawelawe Defense Inc is a Native Hawaiian Owned Small Disadvantaged Business (NHO SDB) that provides services to federal government clients, focusing on program management, digital solutions, human capital and training, and medical staffing.
The Senior Database Administrator will work remotely and is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database systems.
The role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing database solutions to enhance HR processes and decision-making.
Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards, analyzing application data for trends, optimizing SQL queries, and communicating complex data through graphical representations.
The position also supports the rollout of the Electronic Physical Evaluation Board application and documents business processes and data schemas.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience and a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience.
A Technical Level III professional certification as defined by DoD Directive 8570, such as CompTIA Security+ certification, is required.
Preferred knowledge includes the SAP Business Objects WEBI reporting tool, general Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence concepts, and Microsoft Office products.
Proficiency in SQL (Business Objects, Microsoft Access) and experience in Cloud Computing/Development (AWS, Azure) are necessary.
An active Secret Security clearance is required, and candidates must be U.S. citizens.
