Description:

Agicap is seeking a passionate Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join their Tech team as the first DBA.
The DBA will be part of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) squad, responsible for structuring DBA practices and optimizing systems and processes.
Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving performance issues, maintaining and managing database instances, automating maintenance routines, ensuring data security and compliance, and collaborating with tech teams.
The current infrastructure includes 50 database instances with a total capacity of 17 TB, fully automated management using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terragrunt and Terraform, and a strong reliance on Kubernetes for service orchestration.
The development stack primarily consists of .NET and Node.js, with Python and Go for specific projects.
The role involves tackling complex technical challenges, such as implementing Change Data Capture, table partitioning, and migrating from SQL Server to PostgreSQL.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a team spirit, a desire to learn, and a willingness to share knowledge.
A significant experience as a DBA (ideally 3-5 years) is required.
Proficiency in SQL Server and PostgreSQL in a cloud context is essential.
Candidates must have skills in performance optimization and proactive load management.

An attractive salary range of €55K to €70K based on experience.
