Description:

LogicManager is seeking a Senior Database Engineer with expertise in Oracle database solutions and data warehousing to join their remote team.
The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing high-availability cloud-based databases to support enterprise risk management software.
Responsibilities include leading the architecture and system design of cloud-based Oracle databases, defining development standards, and participating in code reviews.
The engineer will administer and optimize databases, focusing on performance tuning, reliability, and backups, while managing data pipelines and business continuity plans.
Mentorship of junior team members is a key aspect of the role, including conducting training sessions to enhance technical skills within the team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of technical experience in Oracle database architecture, design, and administration, with a strong focus on data warehousing and backend data engineering solutions.
Experience with cloud-based databases and Unix/Linux-based platforms is strongly preferred.
Expertise in Oracle databases for both transactional and analytical processing is required, along with proficiency in ETL tools such as Oracle GoldenGate.
Strong skills in performance tuning and database optimization are essential.
Proven ability to lead database projects from conception to delivery in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges are required.
