The role of Senior Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE) involves optimizing and scaling database infrastructure, initially focusing on PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora.

Requirements:

Candidates should have 8+ years of relevant experience in SRE, DevOps, or Database Administration roles.
Deep expertise in scaling and administering PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora in a production environment is required.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js development is necessary.
Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable database solutions is essential.
Candidates must be comfortable optimizing database performance at scale and implementing best practices.
A strong engineering background with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues is required.
Nice to have skills include experience with Terraform and Terragrunt, knowledge of Prisma and ORM frameworks, experience with containerization technologies and CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with RedShift or other data warehouses.
