Description:
The Senior DataOps Engineer will be responsible for strengthening and maintaining the data infrastructure using DevOps best practices to ensure optimal scalability, reliability, and security.
They will improve development and CI/CD workflows to provide a top-notch dev experience to data practitioners across the company.
Building, testing, documenting, and deploying reliable data pipelines from diverse data sources like Snowflake, ClickHouse, Postgresql, S3, and SaaS platforms.
Proactively contributing to the evolution of the Internal Data Platform by proposing new ideas and exploring innovative tech tools.
Effective communication and collaboration with a broad audience, tailoring messages to individuals with varying technical expertise.
Requirements:
3+ years of DevOps experience with at least 2+ years in production with Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Knowledge of Data Orchestration solutions like Airflow, Dagster.
Experience in Cloud computing and Data Lake/Warehousing Management.
Understanding of ELTs ("Extract Load Transform") and related tools like Fivetran, dbt.
Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to propose appropriate technical solutions.
Autonomy, excellent people and time management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed team.
Ability to think creatively and find suitable tech solutions to complex problems.
Effective communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies.
Professional proficiency in English.
