Description:

  • The Senior Demo Engineer will be part of the Demo Team, which focuses on R&D, Operations, and Technical Enablement for Presales.
  • This role involves designing and implementing solutions for demo scenarios, specifically for Drupal.
  • The engineer will operate, maintain, and improve demo asset environments, including monitoring, patching, and documentation.
  • Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and building end-to-end Drupal Cloud demos that integrate multiple solutions and platforms.
  • The engineer will stay updated with the latest Drupal Cloud features and troubleshoot issues within demo environments.
  • The position requires building and maintaining demo enablement assets such as scripts, videos, and how-tos.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for collaboration with Demo Team leaders and cross-functional groups in North America and Europe.
  • The role involves engaging in architecture discussions, planning, and participating in cross-functional coordination and reviews.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development (fullstack), including PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and Git, along with 3+ years of experience in Drupal 7/8/9/10 site building and development.
  • Experience with Drupal Symfony, Composer, and Drush is required.
  • Exposure to automated testing and scripting, such as Selenium, is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience working directly with US and European teams.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are essential for autonomy in the role.
  • Experience in communicating with users, non-technical teams, and product management to understand requirements and describe software features is required.
  • Candidates must have experience working with multiple developers on a single codebase using platforms like Github/lab or Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to perform peer reviews on team members’ code is necessary.
  • Awareness of Drupal community interactions and standard methodologies is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with organizational and time management skills, are essential.
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology Management, or equivalent experience is required.
