Description:

The Senior Design Engineer is a key member of the Experience Design and Research (XDR) team at Aledade, supporting the Design Systems & Infrastructure group.
The role focuses on improving health outcomes for patients by equipping primary care practices with thoughtfully crafted technology.
The engineer will contribute to the design system, enhance the front-end infrastructure of the Aledade App, and provide consulting and mentoring on front-end best practices.
The work is guided by core values including community, joy, evidence-based experiences, inclusive design, sustainability, and exploration.
Responsibilities include driving improvements in the quality, usability, and accessibility of the Aledade App, planning and executing initiatives for front-end app infrastructure, partnering with delivery teams for product launches, maintaining relationships across engineering teams, and mentoring engineers on best practices.

Requirements:

A BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 4 years of experience as an engineer building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team is necessary.
At least 3 years of experience with front-end engineering languages, frameworks, and tools such as Vue, Storybook, and TypeScript is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, focusing on both short-term and long-term business value.
A minimum of 2 years of experience coaching other engineers is also required.
