Remote Senior Dev Ops Engineer (Remote)

Description:

• Support and maintain the company’s internal and production systems with a focus on security, automation, configuration, release management, and system maintenance.
• Ensure high availability of internal and production systems.
• Implement company and business unit standard server technologies (Linux and Windows) with proper performance, optimization, and capacity standards.
• Lead the implementation of IT infrastructure, Engineering DevOps projects, and AWS solutions, including cloud architecture design, deployment, and management.
• Provide scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud services, automate workflows, and optimize development processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation and diagrams.
• Perform software deployments, releases, and system maintenance procedures, even during non-business hours.
• Assist in resolving network issues and applying testing environment changes.
• Support development teams transitioning to managing their own product deployments and releases.

Requirements:

• Experience in AWS Cloud Computing Solutions.
• Proficiency in Terraform and other laC tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Apache, TomCat, WordPress, and Testlink.
• Knowledge of Networking, IDS/IPS, SAN, Linux and Windows administration, HyperV, VirtualBox, VMWare, Encryption, VPN (SonicWall/OpenVPN), ITIL Standards, DB Administration (MySQL), command line scripting (BASH PowerShell, DOS Batch), and source code management (GIT, Bitbucket).
• Development skills including using AWS in code scripts, modifying Docker YAML files, and scripting to automate or adjust IP tables.
