Remote Senior Developer

Description:

• The Senior Web Application Developer position at BizLibrary involves maintaining and enhancing e-learning and content delivery web applications used globally.
• Responsibilities include collaborating in an Agile team, writing quality code across the full stack, adhering to coding standards, participating in peer code reviews, testing user stories, estimating tasks, mentoring developers, troubleshooting application issues, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• The role also involves working with AWS cloud technologies, supporting development within the .Net Core framework, and utilizing Python, Nodejs, and APIs.
• The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented software design, experience with Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

• 6 years of experience with AWS technologies and services.
• 2 years of database-related experience.
• 6 years of experience working in a team environment.
• Experience in Python, Nodejs, and Agile development processes.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented software design.
• Aptitude and a desire to learn new technologies.
• Experience teaching and mentoring others.
• Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
• Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
