Description:

1Password is seeking Senior Developers for their Tech teams, focusing on Programmatic Interfaces and Billing and Payments.
The Programmatic Interfaces team builds and maintains APIs, authentication, and SDKs for partners and customers, including integrations for CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
The Billing and Payments team manages financial transactions, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely delivery, while resolving billing discrepancies and providing customer support.
The role is remote, open to candidates in the US, Canada, and the UK, with asynchronous work and occasional Zoom meetings.
Responsibilities include leading the development, testing, and debugging of production software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior members, driving technical design, and solving complex technical challenges.
The position requires staying informed about industry trends and building new test infrastructures to enhance testing efficiency.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development.
A strong passion for software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns is essential.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and propose innovative solutions is required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary for working with teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical partners.
Proven experience in implementing testing methodologies and debugging techniques to ensure high-quality code is needed.
Experience in building and operating APIs at scale is crucial for leading the Programmatic Interfaces team.
Strong experience with databases, particularly writing raw SQL queries in MySQL or Postgres, is required.
Proven experience with asynchronous service-to-service communication and developing Rest APIs and message queues is necessary.

The annual base salary for US-based roles ranges from $153,000 to $207,000 USD, while for Canada-based roles, it ranges from $140,000 to $190,000 CAD.
