Description:

Fullscript is seeking a Senior Ruby Engineer to enhance their platform that supports over 100,000 healthcare practitioners and 10 million patients.
The role involves building a rich, stable, and compelling user experience while focusing on developer experience.
Responsibilities include planning solution designs, implementing business logic for the e-commerce platform, and maintaining integrations with external services like Stripe and Avatax.
The engineer will also build an internal API, solve performance issues, contribute to technical improvements, and participate in code reviews and mentorship.
Fullscript uses Ruby on Rails for backend development and collaborates with front-end engineers using React, TypeScript, and Apollo.

Requirements:

Candidates must be passionate software engineers who care about their craft and are eager to learn and lead projects.
Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails is required.
Applicants should understand the value of writing tests and have a desire to learn and be open to feedback.
A solid understanding of design patterns and clean code is necessary.
