As a developer in the Calculations team, the primary focus is the design, maintenance, and development of various backend calculation services related to legislative compliance, payroll, and HR, emphasizing performance optimization, throughput, and accuracy.
The role involves general coding, innovative design, and unit testing of the PaySpace calculation services.
The position requires bringing a strong technical understanding of system architecture to the team.
The developer will be part of a cross-functional team that includes Frontend, Back-End, and Full-Stack Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA’s.
Participation in product planning from discovery to deployment is expected, with input valued at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Collaboration is key, as teams work together to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve products while quickly addressing any bugs.
The developer will ensure customers receive a high-quality experience with the products.

Requirements:

Expert knowledge of the latest versions of C#/.NET and .NET Core is required.
Proficiency in applying SOLID Principles is necessary.
A strong understanding of MS-SQL databases is essential.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps is required; knowledge of similar tools is acceptable for fast learners.
Experience in creating RESTful APIs is necessary.
Familiarity with Dapper or a similar ORM is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer is mandatory.
The candidate should excel in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Microsoft technologies.
The ability to thrive in a collaborative, remote-first work culture is essential.
