Remote Senior Developer (Europe, Contract)

Description:

• NearForm is seeking Senior Developers based in Europe for a 3 Month FTC opportunity to work on digital products that enhance user experiences and accelerate enterprise growth.
• The role involves translating client requirements into interactive applications, focusing on delivering high-quality output within set timeframes.
• Responsibilities include designing and building applications using JavaScript, supporting component development, defining structured practices, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with client teams.
• Developers will work across the stack, with opportunities in Front End, Back End, or Full Stack roles, depending on individual strengths and interests.
• Optional experiences include Typescript, GraphQL, security considerations, and familiarity with open-source technologies.
• The recruitment process involves a TalentCall, an assessment with the hiring team, and a video call with a Hiring Manager to discuss technical background and interests.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Must have significant experience as a Senior Developer and practical experience in an agile environment.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript, including frameworks like React and Node.js, is necessary.
• Experience with versioning control tools like Git, testing at all levels, databases, automation, CI/CD, and collaborative software development.
• For Front End roles, understanding of layout aesthetics, responsive design, and mobile web development is needed.
• For Back End or Full Stack roles, deep understanding of SQL Databases, preferably PostgreSQL, is required.
• Optional requirements include familiarity with Typescript, GraphQL, security, performance considerations, and architectural/design patterns.
