Remote Senior Developer, Front End

Description:

• As a senior front-end developer in the Core team at Officevibe, you will be responsible for implementing the technical strategy, maintaining the team's domain, and enabling feature teams through various methods.
• Your tasks will involve analyzing requirements, evaluating technical solutions, designing and writing code, applying security guidelines, integrating and deploying to production, and maintaining the application.
• A typical week will consist of writing quality code (60%), code review and technical feedback (20%), and team meetings and rituals (20%).
• The Officevibe Core team focuses on improving developer productivity by optimizing development cycles, implementing the technical strategy, owning sub-domains to support teams, and developing tools to assist the teams.
• Future challenges for the team include migrating frontend applications to TypeScript, enhancing automated testing practices for frontend development, and improving tracking and observability of frontend performance.

Requirements:

• Expertise in front-end software development using TypeScript and React.
• Comfortable with Netlify, JavaScript infrastructure, webpack, npm, and CI/CD.
• Proficiency in working with Storybook and Chromatic.
• Ability to write technical documentation and simplify complex technical concepts.
• Enjoy exploring new technologies and questioning the status quo.
• Willingness to share knowledge with others through workshops, lunch & learns, etc.
